Automatic Gates

Installation & Service

Iron Gates

As iron gates are commonly used to add an element of elegance and style to a property, they are the crème of the crop in New Orleans. Iron gates are typically difficult to break or climb over, and are available in a variety of styles including simple, functional, and ornate.

Chain-Link Gates

Chain-link gates are relatively inexpensive to purchase and install, and they are easy to maintain. They can also be customized to almost any height and can withstand a lot of wear and tear. Chain-link finishes can be galvanized or vinyl-coated.

Wood Gates

Wooden gates are a popular option and can be made of a variety of woods, including cedar, pine, and redwood. They can be either simple or elaborate in design, and they can be made to match the style of the fence on the property.

Aluminum Gates

Aluminum gates are durable, and they are resistant to rust and corrosion. Aluminum is a low-maintenance material, making it a good choice for homeowners who do not want to spend a lot of time maintaining their gates.

Sheet Metal Gates

Sheet metal gates are typically used for industrial or commercial applications. Sheet metal gates are strong, but they are not as attractive as other materials, such as wood or metal.

Customer Satisfaction is Our Top Priority. We Get the Job Done Right!

Five-Star Google Review

Highly Recommended! The crew did a fantastic job installing our new beautiful wrought-iron pool fence! Also, his price was substantially lower than the other two quotes I received for the fence, and the entire project was done very quickly.

Five-Star Google Review

Jimmy and his staff were great to work with. They were efficient and had the best prices. They came out in a timely manner to fix the only issue I ever had. Great service after the sale.

Five-Star Google Review

Jimmy was great to work with. He stayed in touch throughout the project, which meant a lot when we couldn’t be on site. We are glad we went with his design suggestions which improved our original ideas. He coordinated important details with our electrician and landscaper so that everything came together the way we had planned. We are very pleased with our automatic iron gate.

Five-Star Google Review

Access Gate Systems replaced an older remote gate system with a new LiftMaster system. Their work was timely and highly professional. Jimmy is extremely considerate when it comes to accommodating the customer. He called several times, after installation, to make sue that we were satisfied with the product and to inquire if we had any questions.

Five-Star Google Review

Access Gate Systems/Jimmy was easy to work with! I got exactly what I paid for, which seems hard to come by these days – I got a quality gate and service to go with it. I appreciate the pre-Katrina, LOCAL experience and highly recommend them!

Five-Star Google Review

Tried several companies unsuccessfully. Finally found Access. Great product, professionally installed. Best of all- superior customer service. Thanks.

Everyday FAQs

Access Gate FAQs

On new installations, in addition to the parts warranty the manufacturer gives you, usually either 2, 3, 5, or 7 years depending on the specific system, we give our clients a 100% rock solid one year labor warranty on ANY labor needed for ANY reason if something happens to your system in that first 12 months starting from the installation date.  And we will be there for you if you need us because if we sell you a new system, we will support that new system for you.

Yes.  All modern gate systems have to have two safety features to reverse the gate/s if they don’t complete a cycle.  1)  Is the inherent force reversal feature built into the system where if the gate(s) bumps into something while moving, it will realize it and reverse the gate in the opposite direction.  2)  We also include and install infrared photo electric sensors on every gate system that we install that will reverse the automatic gate system if the beam is broken while the gate is closing, and sometimes on certain installations, when the gate is opening as well.

Yes. We service most major brands of gate operating systems.  You can contact us if you need service and find out if we service the brand of equipment that you have.

The short answer is No. However, you should be aware that most modern gate operating systems do have built in surge suppression. But that is in no way a guarantee that lightning will not ever harm a system.

Yes We Do!  Most of our clients benefit from having us come out once a year to do an annual maintenance procedure on their system.  This really does help your system last longer because it allows us to identify problems earlier, and address and correct those problems, so those issues don’t cause you further damage and increased maintenance costs over time.

We can usually compensate for that in various ways for installations on inclined driveways.  If it’s a rolling gate system, we can alter the angle of the gate track and gate system if needed to level them out to work properly.  On swing gates, depending on how steep the angle of incline is, we can sometimes elevate the gates themselves a little to compensate for that.  In more extreme cases, the swing gates may have to be set up for an outward swinging motion so the incline angle does not come into play.

Typically right out of the box, rolling gate systems are more secure as long as something is catching the gate when it goes closed.  But there are various types of automatic locking devices that can lock swing gates together, or against a post every time they close, making them equally secure as rolling gate systems.

You will NEVER get trapped inside or outside if a gate system malfunctions.  There are ways to bypass the automatic function of these gate systems so you can operate them manually if a system malfunctions.

Most of the time, a new gate operating system can be completely installed the same day we start.

The majority of gate operating systems that we sell and install today have back up batteries included in them.  So if the power goes out, you can usually just keep on using your system in a normal way.  Most systems today can run many days without power.  And you also have options to increase the battery power to run these systems for even longer periods of time if you need to.
